About me

I was born in Havana, Cuba, where my passion for photography first took shape against the odds. Those early days, creating with limited resources, taught me to see beauty everywhere. After a decade in Miami, I now call New York home, while my camera has taken me far beyond. I’ve traveled the U.S. from Florida to Alaska and ventured through Europe and Latin America, with each new destination fueling my desire to connect with the world.

Along the way, collaborations with renowned artists and celebrities have opened new doors, memorable moments that continue to inspire me.

A deep passion for film photography has become a cornerstone of my work. There’s something irreplaceable about capturing moments on film; the texture, the timeless quality, and the way it keeps me rooted in the craft, takes my passion to another level.

Nature lover, I usually find myself visiting Zoos, Botanical gardens and wild animal refugees to capture the beauty of Mother Nature. Through the colorful feathers of a pheasant to the intimidating eyes of a wolf, every animal is a beautiful creation.

I have dedicated two specific galleries to my travels with my Hasselblad and Leica cameras which I have named Hasselblading and Leicando, unique names for unique images.

As the founder of Sunlife Photography L.L.C., I specialize in lifestyle photography; Weddings, Quinceañeras, Maternities, and more.

Ultimately, my goal is to become a globally recognized photographer, showcasing my art on the world’s biggest stages.
